2019 PureChat review, including pricing and alternatives

Purechat is an online chat tool. Although its main business is in the chat function, it is worth mentioning another of its important functionalities such as ArtiBot.ai, which is a bot chat with which you can automate some of the most recurrent conversations you receive in your chat day after day. Its automated chat allows you to redirect to payment gateways, book appointments in a calendar widget and send notifications via SMS, Zapier or Email.

PureChat Pricing

Purechat has a freemium plan that you can use in a maximum of 1 website and that allows up to 3 operators, without limit of chats. Your cheapest payment plan starts at $39 a month, has SMS notifications as well as realtime analytics. Your most expensive plan can be used on several websites at the same time with a limit of 10 operators.

A positive review we found about PureChat

What I like most about Pure Chat is that from most websites I’m already surfing on, I have the opportunity to speak directly to customer service agents. If I have any questions or concerns, I can quickly get in contact with someone who can support me and that’s very nice as I don’t have to call customer service and click through many different menu choices, or send an email and wait for an unknown amount of time to get a reply. I had many of my questions and concerns answered with polite agents through Pure Chat and I love this service and wish it to be used by more companies!

I wish I could have one. They give you free and even more excellent features when you upgrade. Inline pricing with other providers. I’m going to update this analysis if it’s a con.

2019 Boomerang review, including pricing and alternatives

Boomerang is an email marketing tool, which works on your Gmail account. It allows you to track in real time the moment your contacts have opened your emails as well as automating the forwarding of emails when they have not opened your emails in a certain period of time. In their more expensive plans, include the ability to schedule the sending of emails at certain intervals (days, weeks, months).

Boomerang Pricing

Boomerang has a free plan that allows you to send up to 10 emails per month, which may be a little scarce. Your cheapest plan starts at $5 a month. If you want to take advantage of some of the more advanced options, you already need to pay $50 a month to be able to integrate with Salesforce or other CRMs, as well as receive priority customer support.

Boomerang Main Features

A positive review we found about Boomerang

The software helps you to plan the sending of messages. It helps me to schedule and forget emails (to be sent when I choose) and opens my bandwidth to tackle certain tasks while ensuring that emails will be sent at a time when my recipients are most likely to respond. I just love the ability to “boomerang” emails that I’ve been waiting for, but didn’t get, so I can follow up from my side. This eliminates the need for me to remember who I posted last week and helps me to follow up intelligently.

A bad review we found about  Boomerang

Occasionally, I find it annoying because when I load my gmail, boomerang has to load through the Google Chrome extension and my Gmail slows down. The ‘ stop ‘ button feature doesn’t work well-I failed to unpause the occasional email when you pause an email from a sender.

2019 ConstantContact review, including pricing and alternatives

ConstantContact is an email marketing tool. It features unlimited emailing, customizable templates as well as a gallery of pre-created templates for certain types of businesses or industries. It has pop-ups where you can include your forms, as well as integration with advertising tools such as Facebook or Instagram ads. Its most advanced plan includes features such as automation, event management via email (RSVP) as well as reports by campaign or automation.

ConstantContact Pricing

ConstantContact has two plans, it does not have a freemium plan. The cheapest plan is focused on email. You can send unlimited emails, work with custom templates, as well as integrate with platforms such as Shopify or Woocommerce for sending abandoned carts. This plan starts at $20 per month with a maximum of 500 contacts. The most advanced plan, starting at $45 a month, and in addition to including everything detailed in the previous plan, includes more advanced features such as the ability to create surveys, coupons, integration with payment gateways, dynamic content as well as automations.

ConstantContact Main Features

A positive review we found about ConstantContact

I use CC to handle our vast list of contacts and submit email updates. It’s great to segment our list— from communications to fundraising, from general interest. The automated features are good, especially because it won’t allow the same email to appear twice in the same inbox. This fuses multiple contacts as well. We’re using it throughout the company. Constant contact is good for combining duplicate addresses, updating your address book, providing reliable open rate and detailed reports, and enabling you to segment wide email lists.

A bad review we found about ConstantContact

Allowances. In addition to the account owner, there are basically two types of permissions: project creator and account manager. It would be good to have more granular control over what users can do, as account manager allows users a lot of freedom, but to deal with contacts, plan a send, etc. The other thing that I don’t like is how high the price ramps up. I feel that Constant Contact is the most stable system after using Emma and MailChimp. But it’s expensive.

2019 Formspree review, including pricing and alternatives

Formspree has a freemium plan that supports a limit of 50 contacts. The most expensive plan supports up to 5000 contacts with no limit on the number of forms you can create for about $40 a month, including API access to connect to other tools.

Formspree Pricing

Formspree is a tool for creating online forms, designed primarily for developers and not so much for marketing teams as it requires development knowledge to create the forms. If you are looking for a tool with an interface that allows you to create forms visually, this is not a good choice.

[table id=37 /]

Formspree Main Features

A positive review we found about Formspree

You can create almost any kind of application without coding (or very little!) that you can think of. It is the plugin with the most complex and sophisticated form while being so basic as well. It’s also so much more than just an app. I developed full user management systems, CMS, software workflows, and more. If you wanted to build a business application of any kind but didn’t want to code it, this is a great way to do it. I love the support and the scale of the team as well. Everyone is super helpful, lots of add-ons are available, and there are plenty to inspire.

A bad review we found about Formspree

Very hard to find any disadvantage for formidable forms. But if there were one, it would be great to have an easy way to copy forms without using their api service from one page to another. Sometimes there’s a sheer number of things you can do with Formidable Forms, but I don’t think that’s really a drawback.

2019 Typeform review, including pricing and alternatives

If there is software that has revolutionized the forms, it has been Typeform. They haven’t just created a new form editor, they’ve made it interactive, playing with conversational design to show the different questions in the forms you can create.

Typeform Pricing

Typeform has a free plan but limited to no more than 10 questions and 100 answers per month. Its lowest payment plan, $30 per month, has a limit of 1000 responses per month, includes the option of uploading files to your forms as well as the ability to connect to payment gateways. The professional plan supports up to 5000 responses and its Premium plan 10000 responses.

[table id=36 /]

Typeform Main Features

A positive review we found about Typeform

I love the Typeform. In my opinion, it has the best overall user experience. The shapes can be modified, but it’s the one-question-per-time design that is best. Particularly good for long responses, although all kinds of responses work well. Also if you don’t want the person to look at the other questions for some reason, or have some kind of “surprise” promo or something on one of the following questions. The manner in which the answers are presented often makes it easy to find specific information. To save you time, it also has compatibility with Zapier, and provides some ready to use beautiful templates.

A bad review we found about Typeform

In the sense of a real calculator, the “Calculate” feature does not actually calculate. Rather, when you create quizzes and surveys, it measures “points.” It’s kind of difficult to get used to the new Typeform interface simply because we were used to the previous interface SO. It’s always hard to get used to when software companies change their tool or offer a facelift to their tool…. Nonetheless, new users won’t have any trouble. It’s just a disadvantage for us as we’ve been used to their original interface.

2019 SendinBlue review, including pricing and alternatives

Sendinblue is an online marketing tool that offers you everything you need to get your message to your customers: email marketing, sms marketing or chat, are some of the media that offer you the ability to automate everything through tools that allow you to automate the flow of communications you send to your contacts. Some of the most outstanding clients who use Sendblue are Amnesty International, Michelin or Louis Vuitton as they indicate on their page.

SendinBlue Pricing

Like other email marketing tools, Sendinblue’s price varies depending on the features you need as well as the number of emails you send. Their free plan is one of the biggest rivals to Mailchimp’s freemium plan (2000 free emails per month), as they allow up to 300 free emails per day regardless of the number of contacts. Some of its more advanced features such as its landing page tool, chat or its integration with Facebook ads, are only available in the most expensive plan that starts at $49 a month (with a limit of 120,000 emails per day).

[table id=24 /]

SendinBlue Main Features

A positive review we found about SendinBlue

It’s overall ease of use when I first saw it was a huge plus, but I think the point of selling for me was the functionality of contact management. The ability to keep all of our lists in one place and filter for certain contacts has changed the way we market and made it a hundred times easier to personalize the process.

A bad review we found about SendinBlue

I got no feedback after designing my email course to let me know if someone had signed up for my course or if they had finished the course. I contacted customer support and was told they had no such choice on their website yet so I’ll have to monitor my subscriber activities manually through the contacts and automation log page. I would like the signup form to be as flexible and completely customizable as MailChimp’s ability to use a photo as the signup form header.

2019 iContact review, including pricing and alternatives

iContact is an email marketing tool. Unlike other email marketing tools like Sendinblue or ActiveCampaign, they have decided to focus only on sending emails, so if you are looking for a tool that sends SMS or allows you to interact via chat with your customers, iContact is not your tool. Some of the functionalities we can highlight are the possibility of creating A/B test campaigns, automate series of emails you send jointly, as well as access via API to connect with third-party tools.

iContact Pricing

iContact has a single plan that includes all the functionalities and its price varies depending on the number of contacts you work with, starting at $14 per month for a maximum of 500 contacts up to $299 per 50000 contacts. The only additional fee is in case you have to connect to your Salesforce account, which is an additional payment of $99 per month.

[table id=23 /]

iContact Main Features

A positive review we found about iContact

Once our company switched from our email provider to Icontact for the first time, we were very pleased as a perfect email solution was their attentive technical support, quick setup and easy to use interface. Icontact is a strong choice for SMEs looking to expand their list in a comfortable environment. You can receive better support from daily technical support and they are more willing to work with you and fix any problems quickly. Their delivery of emails is above average.

A bad review we found about iContact

Sometimes when I create a contact list in iContact, I have several excellent sheets that I need to upload to that one contact list… iContact doesn’t allow me to select multiple Excel sheets to upload at once, I need to do one at a time that takes me a lot of extra time to do. I would also like to be able to delete at once more than one contact list. I want to see the entire title of my contact list in the “upload contact” box. Occasionally, if it’s too long, iContact cuts my list title off, I want to see the whole thing…

2019 Drip review, including pricing and alternatives

Drip is an email marketing tool, designed especially for ecommerce. Some of the most important features include the option to segment based on the products they have seen and / or purchased, as well as sending personalized emails based on their interactions in your ecommerce. Since it is focused on ecommerces, it integrates directly with Facebook and Instagram, to give multichannel coverage.

Drip Pricing

Drip does not have a freemium plan since its cheapest plan starts at $49 with a maximum of 2500 contacts to which you can send unlimited emails. If you need to reach a larger audience, 5000 contacts, with all the functionalities has a price of $122 per month.

[table id=22 /]

Drip Main Features

A positive review we found about Drip

If you’re selling a lot of different product types and clients, the ability of Drip to help you automatically classify people is incredible. Once Shopify split and MC broke up, we switched from MailChimp to Drip, but we wanted something more stable because our ecomm started to take off. I love that you can cause events based on actions like when a customer clicks on a certain page on your website and the incorporation of Facebook custom audiences is very useful and has also improved our social targeting strategy. Looking back at what we did with MailChimp vs. Drip, I’m just kind of smiling. They are even difficult to compare.

A bad review we found about Drip

It’s quite difficult to do some things. You would assume, for instance, to be able to set up a simple trigger connection in an email, except that a completely separate automation is required. At certain times you can’t set triggers to occur, and it can be difficult to make your email model look good (plain templates are fantastic, but sometimes you just want to be able to adjust things to make it more personal). It’s also incredibly difficult to add call-to-action buttons to messages, it’s just impossible to get the colors to match your own product. But in the grand scheme of things, all these are mild gripes!

2019 Emma review, including pricing and alternatives

Emma is an email marketing tool. All its functionalities are similar to those found in other tools, but they offer a clear interface and solid infrastructure: drag & drop email editor, templates to create emails without starting from scratch, segmentation tools, access via API, HTML templates, etc.

Emma Pricing

The price for an Emma monthly plan varies depending on the type of tools you need: starting at $89 a month for the most basic plan which only includes access for one user and is limited to one automation, up to $229 a month if you want to give access to all your equipment, as well as having the option to create an unlimited number of automations and other advantages.

Emma Main Features

A positive review we found about Emma

I am currently using this as a sub-account for managing multiple products under a single primary account. The software is intuitive, the builder is more efficient than others out there once you get used to it, and I really enjoy how it works to segment. Automation is a breeze and multivariate testing works very well and it is easy to see individual winners of campaigns.

A bad review we found about Emma

Occasionally, copying / pasting from Word or other sources can cause serious formatting issues that can not be fixed without digging into the source. The function of the Word clipboard does not always work. Building out of a template’s structure— specifically dragging and falling— can be frustrating, because blocks can not always be moved anywhere you want them to be. Sometimes the font layout— ital, bold, underline— can get “stuck,” which means you have to re-format into the origin.

2019 Yesware review, including pricing and alternatives

Yesware is an email marketing tool. Unlike other email marketing tools that work more as a platform (like Convertkit, ActiveCampaign, Hubspot), Yesware is an add-on that works on your account in Gmail or Outlook. Since Yesware is more focused for use in sales teams, most of its functions have to do with monitoring how your contacts interact with your emails (note the real-time notifications of when a contact opens one of your emails). It has templates to reuse in conversations, integrations with Linkedin Sales Navigator and Salesforce.

Yesware Pricing

Yesware has an initial plan ($12 per month) that includes the most basic functions such as email tracking, templates and reports, as well as the ability to book meetings in a calendar add-on. The most expensive plan ($55 per month per user) includes bi-directional integration with enterprise tools such as Salesforce, as well as integration with CRMs from third-party tools. Among some of the most renowned customers working with Yesware we can find Groupon, Classpass or even Zendesk as they indicate on their website.

[table id=18 /]

Yesware Main Features

A positive review we found about Yesware

The email tracking visibility provided is extremely useful! I like to know when someone is opening or clicking on a message. However, by using the templates feature, I save a ton of time. All my messages are also closely aligned with Salesforce, saving a ton of time and energy and keeping me coordinated! Mail Merge and Reporting are also neat, although I use those less frequently.

A bad review we found about Yesware

There is not much to dislike about this software as a salesperson. The only thing I can say that has ever been a problem is that the sync back to Salesforce will sometimes synchronize with a duplicate record, not the record I may have liked. This code is good other than that.
